Tucker Tweed Equestrian | Handbags
Have you met Tucker Tweed Equestrian? A vision to create equestrian-themed handbags that states, “horses are my passion” is now a globally recognized brand in the equine fashion industry. Synonymous with luxury and style, Tucker Tweed Equestrian’s leather handbags, wristlets, wallets and now nylon/leather luggage all feature unique horse-inspired details. Their distinct brand logo features two horse heads surrounding an iconic T, as the name is a combination of the founder, Jill Tweedy, and her lifetime horse, Tucker.
Tucker Tweed Equestrian debuted over eight years ago at Country Ride Saddlery in Mooresville, North Carolina. Today their equestrian handbags, luggage, branded hats, shirts, socks and saddle pads are found in over 150 tack stores in the US and around the world. What separates Tucker Tweed Equestrian from other purse designs is their focus on delivering discipline-specific options for riders, horse enthusiasts, and women with fabulous taste. Trademarked embossed logos are available on their leather goods, including options with a hunter/jumper, dressage, fox hunting, their signature logo or their newly created polo design.
Unique options offered to riders in this equestrian niche include six handbag styles, which suit horse fans of all ages. Each purse is offered in up to 13 different colors with four or five embossing options creating over 250 unique opportunities. The pieces in this collection are named after legendary equestrian showgrounds, such as The Lexington or Wellington Wristlet or the founder’s family members, including the James River Carry All. Jill’s own experience showing hunters followed by jumpers, fox hunting with the Sedgefield Hunt in Greensboro North Carolina and now riding dressage have influenced each of her designs.
